Common concerns and outcomes when switching to raw

Many dogs can switch to raw food without any noticeable ill effects, occasionally, however, we get asked about the following:

What if my dog refuses to eat raw food?

If your dog refuses to eat raw food when you put it down, don’t worry. This can happen when introducing any new food with a new smell and texture. Don’t give up! A dog can survive with no food – and no ill effects – for a week. Put the food down and if they don’t eat, lift it after 15-20 minutes and refrigerate it, then try again at the next meal time. Keep trying until they eat it and in no time your dog will be well on the way to being a healthy and happy dog!

We have a variety of meats in stock such as Beef, Chicken, Duck, Salmon, Lamb, Turkey & Tripe

If you like many others are considering the change to a raw dog diet head over to the shop and begin your journey for as little as £18.50!
